Color Overtakes the Scottsdale Showroom

January 21, 2014

Our Scottsdale showroom became a mecca of color and design during the Sherwin-Williams Colormix 2014 event, held in October. More than 300 people came to discover the 2014 color forecast, while enjoying amazing food and drink, an entertaining fashion show and networking with other design industry professionals within the Phoenix and Scottsdale area. The event was sponsored by Sub-Zero and Wolf, Crestron and Artisian Cinema & Sound.

Laurie Clark, Sherwin-Williams representative and color forecast presenter, presented the color forecast with each new color scheme introduced by a small fashion show held by the American Society of Interior Designers, Arizona North Chapter board of directors. All of the clothes for the event were provided by Judy Arizona Women’s Boutique and created a great visual for guests.

Chef Dennis Frazier and his team from Cater Phoenix Modern Cuisine prepared unique food stations to complement four different color schemes. From a lavish farm table and wok action stations, to nosh and tapas – each station was as delicious as the next.

In addition, women and men alike had a great time trying on jewelry made by Coffin and Trout Fine Jewelers. The jewelers brought several cases of their beautiful handcrafted jewelry to the event.

It was a great event that everyone enjoyed; our Southwest showroom is already looking forward to next year’s event.
